Administrative Assistant
CurrentI am now working at the WMATA on a temporary assignment doing a variety of administrative tasks assisting an Executive Assistant. I was working at the AARP National Headquarters as a Workflow Coordinator in the Member Relations Department from June to November 2013. My duties were to open mail and reply to legal documents such as subpoenas and requests for records. I was trained in the databases used to research members’ information, and I learned to navigate an MS SharePoint site. This assignment required extensive instruction, and I took notes which I later provided to the supervisors. Prior to this assignment, I worked as a word processor at George Washington University helping to edit a large document using Microsoft Word 2010. I have also worked at the American University and the Washington Metro (WMATA, December 2011-January 2012).
