I am responsible for working with our development teams to develop demonstration tests and analyze results to ensure that our products deliver the Reliability our customers demand. Additional focus is put on supporting review of current performance and making recommendations for improvement opportunities and guiding teams through analysis techniques used in Reliability Engineering.

After briefly leaving the company I returned as a Sr. Quality Engineer. Responsibilities were primarily focused around the Plasma product line with an emphasis on customer complaints and field performance. Working side by side with various functions- I helped develop a more sophisticated Warranty Analysis data base for - Improved data collection - Addition of subcomponent level analysis - Linked various company platforms into this database to reduce data entry of existing data - Added time tracking ability to better understand time spent by the Warranty department- Implemented Large System testing capabilities at our Roanoke facility - Eliminated out of the box failures through system inspection/testing - Aided in troubleshooting customer issues reported from the field - Developed a repeatable inspection methodology/data capture- Drove Warranty $$ down by 42% in the US compared to 2013 - Through data analysis highlighted key areas of focus for production and design teams - Helped implement and monitor results of burn in testing - Developed internal claims reporting mechanism to monitor performance on consumables- Developed various reports within our team, worked to make them as automated as possible- Helped produce/maintain first reporting tools capable of predicting future failures - Added functionality to determine future failures by subsystem as well

As a Quality Engineer I held responsibilities over various product lines while monitoring product performance both at the manufacturing level and through warranty returns. I was responsible for maintaining reporting on FTT (First Time Through) and Scrap Costs. Projects were led my me and a team to improve on these areas where possible. In addition to this I also took on reporting to identify failure modes reported from the field, answered customer complaints and worked to reduce these failures.
