Serious Injury Partner
CurrentAs a seasoned Serious Injury Practitioner, I've represented victims of road crashes, accidents at work, accidents in public places and aviation disasters for over 20 years. I also have particular expertise in representing amputees, ensuring they receive the specialist rehabilitation and support they need.Over the years, I have built a strong general aviation practice representing many individuals who suffered injury whilst acting as a pilot under instruction, as well as the families of individuals who suffered fatal injuries arising out of domestic air crashes.I regularly take over cases from other solicitors, currently I'm instructed by the Official Solicitor to represent a 28-year-old who suffered catastrophic injuries arising out of a road traffic collision in which three of his friends died and his brother suffered injury. I was instructed to take over conduct of the claim in place of the boy’s mother who was not acting in his best interests.I have represented a 57-year-old married lady who received record damages for an above left knee amputation following a road traffic collision.I have also represented a 24-year-old single lady who suffered an above left knee amputation when she collided with a 40 foot articulated lorry. The insurers of that lorry refused until recently to admit liability in full for her injuries. It is anticipated that we will recover record damages for this client.I have also represented the family of the late Flt. Lt Sean Cunningham who was a member of the Red Arrows. Flt. Lt. Sean Cunningham sustained fatal injuries arising out of an incident which took place at RAF Scampton on 8 November 2011.
