Served as project leader on several projects including the following:• E1 Phases I and II– Projects involved the migration from Legacy and JDE systems to JDE Enterprise One. The three phases included HR, Payroll, Finance, Purchasing, Maintenance, Order Entry, Costing, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation, and Invoicing. • Project Enterprise – Led IT efforts to get systems in place for a new $230 million paper machine at our Tissue facilities in Harrodsburg, KY. Work included installing new software applications, integrating new applications with existing applications, implementing new hardware, providing training, and on-site go-live support.• Strategic Forecasting Management – Worked with Management to design a system that integrated financial information into a web-based user-friendly application. Trained management so they could design their own views and dashboards.• Midwest Distribution Center – IT lead on project which involved the start-up of a new distribution center in Chicago.Led several projects involving many Wausau Paper employees as well as outside consultants. Interviewed consultants and was responsible for their assignments, performance, and terminations.Served as lead and primary support person for the following applications:• Demantra Planning and its integrations with E1.• DSI RF scripting• JDE archive• Wausau Paper HR & Payroll Portal• Stratum integration with Lotus Notes.• BugTracker• Time EntryLed regular meetings with key stakeholders to review project plans and discuss issues.Organized design meetings with the necessary individuals to identify resolutions to issues with some of the original design processes identified by project sub-teams.Presented bi-weekly project updates to senior management.Responsible for the budget and any changes to it on all of my projects. • Assigned to lead a project to upgrade the collection of Streetlight information. Worked with the billing department to determine requirements. Designed new applications for the Lead Engineering Technicians to capture the information. Trained the Technicians to use the new application. The project was underway when I was hired; I worked with the existing team to manage the project to completion.• Assigned as co-lead on a second project involving the handling of Shared Service Facilities billing. Alliant’s existing SSF system was not working properly and caused the information it was capturing to be inaccurate. We made changes to the system so data was captured correctly as it was entered and customers could be billed properly.• Coordinated weekly meetings with key stakeholders.• Participated in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures and the training of users for both projects.

Systems Project Leader January 2002 – April 2006• Led two projects that defined, designed, and developed two new web applications for Kraft Foods. The first project involved the creation of a Budgeting Application used throughout Kraft Foods to track capital projects, their definitions, time estimates, and dollar estimates. The second project involved the creation of a new EDI interface between Third Parties and Kraft that allowed the Third Parties to send us inventory information through EDI transactions.
