Throughout my training at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, I became highly involved and interested in caring for patients with advanced stages of heart failure, gaining experience in areas such as LVADs, heart transplantation, CardioMEMS, and critical care. Throughout this time, I also gained a large interest in quality improvement projects related to patient care and pharmacy operations utilizing my clinical skills. Throughout these projects, I was able to implement new EMR based tools for pharmacy driven anticoagulation consults that spanned the entirety of the Allina Health System. My main interests include advanced heart failure, critical care, and transitions of care for these patients from hospital admission to ambulatory care visits.
