Vice President Security And Facilites

The Bank Of Princeton

Senior Security Manager

One World Trade Center

My employment at One World Trade began during the construction phase of the new Freedom Tower and continued through opening the building to tenants and the public. As the Senior Security Manager on the 2nd shift, I was responsible for all security related matters to include a staff of 6-7 Security Managers, and approximately 40 Security Officers. OWT was equipped with state of the art access control systems and surveillance camera coverage throughout the building. All Security Managers were required to be ex-law enforcement personnel and I worked with Troopers and Officers from a wide variety of prior law enforcement assignments and locations.

Jan 2014 - Sep 2017

Supervisory Special Agent

Fbi

Newark, New Jersey, United States

I retired as a Supervisor in the Newark Division, after supervising a Special Operations squad for seven years. In this role, I supervised more than 20 Special Agents as well as an additional 20 non-Agent professionals. I served a three month tour in Iraq as an Interrogator in 2011 and was subsequently assigned to FBI HQ in an Agent/Attorney position. Upon my return to Newark, I served as an Acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge for six months immediately prior to my retirement.

Newark,Nj

I supervised a squad of 24 Special Agents, one Special Operations Technician, and 25 Investigative Specialists. This squad provided a first response capability for all FBI investigative matters, to include violent crimes, public corruption, white collar crime, counterintelligence and counterterrorism. My squad provided support for every major FBI investigative effort in the Newark Division and throughout the United States. I managed an extensive fleet of vehicles to include three aircraft and maintained a large office/warehouse facility. I was responsible for proposing, acquiring and managing a separate budget for this operation exceeding $200,000 annually. I supervised the scheduling of all personnel in order to address priority operational requirements while maintaining morale among the employees. I was responsible for semi-annual performance appraisals on all direct reports. In addition, I prepared semi-annual reports documenting the squad work product and accomplishments to Newark Executive Management and FBIHQ Program Managers. As a cross-program squad, I was directly tasked by executive management in Newark as well as FBIHQ components to support major cases on an emergent basis with little notice, on a seven-day per week, 24 hour basis. I was responsible for deploying teams of five to seven Special Agents, frequently on very short notice, to address the highest priority investigations in the FBI throughout the United States, while maintaining appropriate coverage and response capability within the Newark Division.

In furtherance of the FBI's counterterrorism program, I was deployed to Joint Base Balad, Iraq in February, 2011, returning upon completion of my mission in late May, 2011. While deployed, I served as an interrogator with a multi-agency anti-terrorism task force composed of federal agency partners in the intelligence community as well as all U.S. military components. In this position, I was responsible for using military data bases, performing effective interrogation using interpreters, prepare detailed and specific reports meeting U.S. military criteria while furthering the FBI mission gathering intelligence on all U.S. nexus matters.

For this period in my career I was subject to rapid deployment both within the New Jersey area as well as nationwide on very short notice, subject to seven-day per week, 24 hour per day availability. I was involved in every major FBI investigation within the Division and worked very high priority investigations throughout the country when required by FBIHQ.
