Producing and promoting high profile professional events. This includes securing funding and sponsorship, marketing, technical, project management, audience development. Concerts have been staged in conjunction with the National Trust and Canterbury Cathedral. Performers have included Jools Holland, Ruby Turner, Midge Ure, The London Community Gospel Choir and Hue & Cry. Events include the Create Music Finale in Ashford, where ArtEvents are responsible for all aspects of staging a major music festival including sound & lighting and the largest and most unique (choreographed) firework display in the area, attracting an audience of over 12,000.

Responsible for the Kent Tourism Awards for Excellence, international and domestic shows and sales. I was responsible full production and managing of these prestigious awards. This included liaising with UK and overseas PR and marketing organisations, TSE, Visit Britain, obtaining sponsors, media, getting organisations and individuals to enter the awards, organising the judging and then the Gala Awards night. I was also responsible for special sales opportunities like Bennett Voyage (French Travel Agency) Kent Guide in conjunction with Euro Tunnel, exhibitions in Belgium and setting up the KTA Hotel Group.

I was responsible for conferences, shows, promotions and organising factory visits for clients, staff and manufacturers. Also responsible for sales training, setting targets for installation and sales team.

Responsible for the day to day running of the Linn Music Studio and for managing five sales people. Introduced custom installation into the business and implemented a training scheme for new members of staff in the audio-visual department. Drew up and implemented a series of charity concerts in conjunction with Howletts & Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks, The Marlowe Theatre, The Gulbenkian Theatre and Strode Park. These included a variety of indoor and outdoor theatrical, operatic and musical performances as well as drama and puppetry workshops for children. This involved budgeting, fund-raising, co-ordinating performers, staff and venues as well as advertising and promotions.

Worked with this Kent based professional theatre company on various projects including a tour of the south of England with a new play which later transferred to The Riverside Studios, London. Responsible for all technical aspects of running a show on the road, liaising with the crew at each theatre and for co-ordinating the stage management teams. Produced full sound and lighting plans and arranged original soundtrack for the London Production.

Responsible for promoting, logistics and advising on International Cycle Races in Kent, which included The Tour of the Hopfields Premier league Race for three years, Kent Stage of Tour de France (Le Tour), Kent stage of the Milk Race and Kent Road Race Championships (BCF). Liaised with TV, radio, press and specialist press to promote and report on cycle racing in the county. Also involved working closely with emergency services, local councils, National & local sports authorities, as well as many levels of volunteers.
