Operationally supporting 400 stores Canada-wide, including stores in United States and approx. 450 international franchises under the La Senza banner.Operating a centralized distribution center 24 hours per day, 5 days a week.Responsible for all corporate logistics and transportation services.Consolidated multiple transportation companies to use one.

Implemented changes in the overall operation of the Distribution Center – Labor savings of $ 275,000 in ’94 & ’95.Negotiated new transport rates to reduce transportation expense by 10 % - savings of $ 85,000. Realized an improvement in service levels and transit times to stores.

Distribution Services:Responsible for distribution and transportation services, including machines for cutting bulk fabrics.

Reported to the Vice-President, responsible for the cost effective operation of a 440,000 square foot distribution center.Total staff included 5 managers, 17 supervisors, 250 (non-unionized) full-time and temporary staff.Annual operation budget of $11,500,000.
