Executive leader with significant experience in the fields of environment, energy, education and indigenous rights. Skilled in Environmental Assessment, Natural Resource Management, Post Secondary Education leadership, and Community Engagement. An indigenous Canadian (Labradorimiut, Labrador Inuit) with a PhD in Ecology from Memorial University of Newfoundland supplemented with a strong track record in business and partnership development. I was the Director of the Labrador Institute of Memorial University from 2007-2015. I was a full time Board Member with the National Energy Board from 2015-19. From 2019-20 I was a Senior Ecologist with Stantec. From 2020-22 I was Director of the Northern and Arctic Challenge funding program with the National Research Council. In 2022, I retired, and I am now working part time on a variety of projects and I continue to be open to new project opportunities. Feel free to reach out.
