Aon is a benefits administration company. I am a Life Benefits Specialist, a Retirement Specialist, and an On Floor Supervisor for a call center team that assists multiple clients with questions and transactions on 401k, pension, and healthcare benefits.

While completing the internship I spent time shadowing technicians in the help desk and workstation support group. I assisted with testing and re-imaging desktop and laptop PC's and troubleshooting network connection issues. I was responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing hardware on PC's and peripheral equipment including printers. I provided customer service in face to face situations and assisted the workstation support team as needed.

I was responsible for the fixing of customer problems and taking new service orders by phone. The job required excellent customer service skills and I was recognized as one of the top representatives for customer service in the company on numerous occasions.

I was responsible for taking customer orders by phone and dispatching them to small truck and tractor-trailer drivers. I maintained company maintenance records and scheduled vehicle repairs. I directly managed anywhere from 3-7 drivers daily.

I was responsible for dispatching and monitoring trucks and loads for the western region. This included making appointments and booking and planning loads. I made daily reports to customers on load locations and worked directly with the operation manager. I managed 30-40 drivers daily.
