As the most technically able member of the committee managing the website mostly falls to me, it is not an onerous task but it is a necessary one and it keeps me up to date on the general trends in web development.

the Yorkshire Devolution Movement seeks to empower the people of Yorkshire by devolving as much power as possible as close to the people as possible, it does this by pressuring political bodies to consider what is right for the region and championing matters that are important to both our cultural heritage and future advancement.This is an entirely voluntary role that I happily work around other commitments

the Yorkshire Forum was built out of an idea that one of the biggest issues Yorkshire Party faced was that it had little to no idea what the people of Yorkshire, particularly the young, actually wanted outside of an ability to govern themselves. As part of a cross-group initiative I built the Yorkshire forum as a place to discuss various aspects of political power and the changes we want to see, facilitating a county-wide conversation where we could affect changes that matter on a regional level.This is an entirely voluntary position that I carry out in my own personal time.

As the HERB was dissolved and my membership at the Yorkshire Party lapsed I found my aims were better suited to a collective that rather than challenging the current government candidates pressured them to enact the policies we wished to see. We founded the YPF to further those aims and achieve a better world.This is an entirely voluntary role that has minimal impact on my time as is more of a personal project.

In this role my main task was managing the deployment pipelines from development to testing to production ensuring the weekly and monthly rollouts went to plan applying database queries where required.I was also responsible for managing both the cloud and on prem infrastructure through a combination of networking scripts and IaC setting up new automation pipelines as and when required.I was also tasked with replacing the outdated developer tools with a new development environment based on Docker Compose.

As a Systems Engineer I managed our company cloud infrastructure from server hardware to VMs, storage and backups and built LAMP stacks for development and production environments needed by the software team.I managed a team of engineers for B2B MSP services, security, network, server and desktop support for hundreds of sites nationwide.I designed built and maintained bespoke network setups for clients in an array of different sectors and scales.I undertook numerous projects for developing new products to sell as well as backend monitoring and scripting to automate maintenance reducing the number of man hours spent on non-customer systems.

I was charged with organising meetings, drafting up manifesto recommendations, and generally bringing the community together to build a more well-rounded grass roots approach to the party.This was an entirely voluntary role that took place outside of business hours.
