Keith A. Compton currently manages Los Angeles Metro’s unique Project Labor Agreement/Construction Careers Policy (PLA/CCP) programs on construction projects valuing over $5 billion dollars. He has worked on the development of Metro’s PLA/CCP programs with many contributing partners, and manages all program components including implementation, monitoring and reporting. Mr. Compton provides technical assistance to agencies nationally inquiring on the development and implementation of similar programs, and has over 24 years of experience in the areas of diversity including labor/wage compliance, equal opportunity/affirmative action, contract compliance, economic development, M/W/S/DBE programs, budget, finance and administration. Mr. Compton has provided compliance services for the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, City of Long Beach and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (L.A. Metro), among others. He joined L.A. Metro in 2001 with the Diversity and Economic Opportunity Department where he has enforced, and helped develop new, compliance programs for the agency.
