My career began as a bank examiner for the Fed in NY, where reviewing appraisal reports ignited my passion for real estate. This passion led me to Shearson Lehman Brothers in 1986, who was the first wealth firm to offer lending solutions to financial advisors. It was incredibly fulfilling to significantly improve a financial advisor’s ability to build new relationships, which is why I continue in this role today.The journey for clients begins with an initial inquiry, followed by a thorough information-gathering process, document collection, and detailed credit analysis. While the behind-the-scenes steps are complex, my dedication ensures a seamless path to closing. Since 1986, I’ve been attuned to every call with financial advisors, seeking those sparks that can create something incredible through our partnership.In today’s volatile housing market and stringent post-credit crisis regulatory environment, managing expectations is crucial. It's not just about numbers; it's about guiding clients and advisors through every step of the loan process with transparency and clear communication. With over three decades of experience and over $1 billion in loans originated, I’ve developed a keen ability to prepare advisors and their clients for the realities of the lending landscape. I prefer to “exceed client expectations,” which I can do because I have closed well over $1 billion in loans during my career.
