I have 30+ years of demonstrated experience and expertise in developing and operating monitoring/early warning systems for transboundary (migratory) plant pests on a national, regional and global level in Africa and Asia, including Desert Locust, Fall Armyworm and Red Palm Weevil. I am one of the very few Desert Locust forecasters in the world. I enjoy generating new ideas and innovative solutions.
