In this role I was tasked with starting up a new division of the company responsible for all aspects (design, development, marketing...) of a new software product. I retired from this position in 2000. SilverStream had a successful IPO in 1999, and was sold to Novell in 2002.

In this position I was responsible for the development of the internet strategy and product set for the Powersoft division of Sybase (Sybase acquired Powersoft in 1995).

In this position I was responsible for the creation of a team tasked with selling our development and database products across Western North America. We introduced our first product in mid-1991 and in 1994 delivered annual revenues of over $50,000,000 in this region. Powersoft had a successful IPO in 1993 and was purchased by Sybase in 1995.
