My working life started in retail as a sales assistant. This is where I obtained the basic skills in relating with customers face to face, I also became fimilar with how to upsell a wide range of products to help heighten the customers experience. Following on from my time in retail I made the move into the fitness industry as a lifeguard, swimming instructor and a fitness instructor as this is what I had studied in college. I spent three years in this role before taking a leap of faith into the management side of the industry. I was an operations manager for over a year, it was at this point in my life alot of big milestones came to pass as i had a young family and was also in the process of buying my first home at the same time i was carving out a new career path into the commercial energy sector as a corporate account manager.
