I'm an independent computer consultant. I'm fully versed with LAN, Internet and Intranet networking configurations. For the last four years I've been administering Windows 2003 and 2008 servers with Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010. I have a wide programming experience using Basic, C, C++, Pearl, Powershell, etc. While coding isn't my primary skill, I can write maintenance utilities and debug/modify existing applications.With over 25 years of experience using Unix, BSD and Linux, I'm well versed with Bind 9, Apache and most other commonly used server applications.I also have over 25 years of experience using Unix, BSD and Linux.

I was employed at Rackspace (formerly Datapipe, formerly Layered Technologies) as a Systems Administrator for Windows and Exchange, though I also work with SQL, Hyper-V clustering, AD, SCCM, SCOM, WSUS, and the R1Soft/CDP5 backup platforms.

Primarily supported Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 servers with Exchange 2003/2007/2010, MSSQL 2000/2005/2008, etc.Programmed automated monitoring/maintenance scripts using Powershell, Visual Basic and the Automise Scripting engine.Also built and maintained multiple Linux servers for SAMBA, FTP/SFTP, etc.

I was the primary system administrator for the internet service. I managed the Sun Solaris mail/authentication/web servers as well as the cisco routers and terminal servers.They closed their doors as an ISP in early 2000 and are currently only an e-mail/web hosting service. I currently host their servers in my rack at the KC NAP.
