Global SharePoint implementation and application Migration from SP2007 to SP2010.Project Details: Global SharePoint Roll-Out in 3 Regions of the business, including the upgrade of hardware, base software (SQL server and SharePoint 2010) and application conversions onto the new platform. I was responsible for teams in each region and dealing the two primary vendors to Anglo: Accenture and HP. Both of these vendors supplied resources to the project.Replacing the existing SharePoint infrastructure in the three main Regions, EMEA, LATAM and APAC using SharePoint 2010, creating a regional instance on each continent.Creating and implementing a governance regime for the multi-usage shared SharePoint platform.Moving all current SharePoint 2010 applications from the current redundant infrastructure (including Anglo BI application).Migrating and upgrading the AngloDoc document management system from SharePoint 2007 to the new SharePoint 2010 platform.

The project required the delivery of an Anti-Money Laundering solution for the Private Bank. This entailed a complete Software Delivery Life Cycle process for including an Anti-Money Laundering interface into the CRM system and managing the interface into the Group AML engine.There were 2 Software development components to this project, but the bulk of the work was in the change management area as every future transaction, once AML was implemented, had to be processed using the AML interface before Investec could perform a transaction for the client.Business process change and training in each branch were critical components in getting the solution to work with minimal disruption to the operations.
