Current role as Wire EDM Supervisor. Oversee the daily operations of EDM department, which includes 9 Mitsubishi wire machines, a Belmont hole popper, a Sodick hole popper, 2 employees, and an apprentice. Bring drawings in through Autocad. Then program details for our wire machines using Esprit software, and the set ups of machines. Some duties include getting my department to work together, as a team, to get the best quality of work as possible to our customers as efficiently as possible. To be able achieve this. I am involved in the die review meetings, involved all the way through the Wire EDM process, until the final inspection. Ultimately, when the Wire EDM department is done with it, we make sure it’s right. I am also involved in the quoting of hours, and price quoting of the work for our customers that will be coming through our department. We also are able to cut different materials, and a variety of wire sizes. I attend meetings on a regular basis to make sure we are all aware on what the best way to process things through our company, and our department. We are always looking to improve this. My role also involves keeping a constant inventory, and ordering of all Wire EDM department supplies. I am in direct contact through email, or phone with customers keeping them updated on the status of their orders. Customer service, both to our internal and external customers is vital. Strong communication between customers, and our team is an essential part of this role. Prior experience over 8 years of running Mitsubishi Wire EDM machines using Esprit software . Machines include FA10P, FA20S and MV2400R. Help manage the whole wire edm process from start to finish, as efficiently as possible . Keeping machine hours as high as possible, while keeping man hours at a minimum. Make sure the finished parts are inspected and in tolerance when they leave the department. Over 19 years of programming and cnc wire edm experience on Agie AC150 series, 220 series, 250 series and Agie Progress. My background includes extensive cutting of carbide, steel, aluminum, copper and graphite. Prior to this worked in the sales/ service industry and served over 125 accounts weekly for 5 years . Won numerous sales contests as top seller during that time. Also received a 100% service rating from customers during a customer feedback survey. Currently hold a Class A CDL license.
