Responsible for testing and development on the next generation of Tier 4 Final-compliant 427/437 and 435S industrial and agricultural wheeled loading shovels, including parts sign-off and machine performance, durability and compliance testing, as well as maintaining a database of test reports.Also involved in the development programme for the new MTU-powered 457 Tier 4 Final.

Involved in the testing and development programme for the 6-tonne range of Next Generation compact excavators, including the 65R-1 and the 67C-1. Conducted whole-machine endurance & sign-off testing (particularly for noise and engine sign-off) against both industry and internal standards, completed test reports and contributed to weekly project meetings and liaised with Design Engineers to improve overall machine design.

- Designed new components and assemblies for production machines using SiemensNX CAD software and liaised with external fabrication companies to manufactureprototypes.- Researched cost-saving ideas for existing machine components, and updated the3D models and 2D drawings of these parts.- Carried out finite element analysis on structural components using Ansys.
