• Create and review die processes for parts to stay within cost, can meet quality targets & follow through to full production• Responsible for cold stamping production dies for the Cybertruck Program, • Process planning for new and existing projects working with stamping engineering, materials, production teams and internal/external die vendors to deliver a final product to cost, time & quality products.• Perform end-to-end simulations from concept to production parts using AutoForm and Catia, following simulation guidelines and die design standards.• Assess automation blank loading and transfer arms to ensure press speed and end of arm cups not damaging panels• Direct tool changes for die tuning in collaboration with dimensional quality engineers to ensure die capability and repeatability• Perform vendor die design reviews ensuring die robustness and performance targets are met• Develop inventory for spare details, punches & buttons using die BOM• Ensure production readiness of dies, scrap shed, SPM, & no burrs/slivers
