About Keith Foley

As Strategic Growth Director, Mobility for WSP in the UK, I bring a range of skills and experience to client challenges, helping our teams utilise their skills to support successful outcomes. My significant knowledge of the public sector has helped deliver business planning for the Department for Transport's Operator of Last Resort, driving the handover from Virgin Trains East Coast to LNER and commercial acumen ensured agreement with all 14 DfT franchised TOCs for implementation of the 16/17 Saver card.I bring worldwide experience of transport issues having co-delivered research projects with a number of worldwide metros. Using this experience I have chaired conference discussions (most recently for the Department for International Trade (DIT)) and I lead a number of projects for clients in challenging political and reputational environments.I previously spent twenty years working in a number of roles within London Underground and Transport for London. My background is in Transport Planning and promotion of new infrastructure projects such as the Northern Line Extension and Croxley Rail Link, in which I was lead witness at public enquiry. I was also lead sponsor for the new S-stock walk-through trains on the Metropolitan, Circle, District and H&C lines. In 2005 I led London Underground's planning for the 2012 Olympic Games as Programme Sponsor and represented TfL at the Beijing Games. My final years at TfL involved leading London Underground’s change programme to deliver Night Tube services, a role that required a mix of technical skills, core leadership and project management skills. In addition, a keen ability to engage stakeholders varying from local residents through to political pressure groups and London Assembly Members & MPs was crucial in making the project a success.

Listed skills include Rail, Transportation, Project Delivery, Stakeholder Management, and 18 others.
