I studied the theoretical interpretation of Scanning Gate Microscopy (SGM) experiments, under the direction of Dietmar Weinmann and Rodolfo Jalabert. In particular, our emphasis was on the subject of "branching," a phenomenon in which the electric current in two-dimensional electron gases (particularly those in disordered semiconductor hetero-structures) is focused into narrowly-collimated filaments, even when the electron propagation is ballistic. My research is funded by an ANR grant awarded to Dietmar Weinmann through CNRS.In addition, I also continued my work on the subject of isolated quantum thermalization, in particular the question of how much information about a finite-temperature phase transition can be obtained from one eigenstate of a quantum, non-integrable Hamiltonian.
