Hello, my name is Keith Getch. I am 33 years of age, happily married for 7 years, and am currently enjoying my pursuit in my financial and business carrier. I started my working experience, like most people, in a lot of part-time and fulltime type of jobs (mostly retail). Then as I grew a little older and a little wiser, I moved to Nevada where I obtained my Associate of Business Degree from Western Nevada College in Carson City, Nevada.I have also grown in my work experience. As I have already mentioned, I started in a lot of retail, and similar industries, for the beginning stages of my working career where I learned the valuable lessons of how to communicate with people. To understand peoples wants and needs and be able to provide them with the best service possible to fulfill those wants and needs. I then shifted into a more financial/business type of industry where I began to understand the nuances of finances and business sales.I started working as a teller at Nevada State Bank and eventually moved over to the insurance world where I worked for AAA. Both of these jobs taught me the importance of how to sell a product that best fits the clients needs and desires. After working a combined four years between these jobs I eventually was able to land a job working in the accounting department at my current company The Sourcing Group (TSG). TSG has been a rewarding job. I have been able to improve on some my more technical skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.) as well develop new skills (i.e. A/P, A/R, Freight Costs, etc.).I have enjoyed my working journey so far but I am also eager to continue to improve and better myself with new challenges and opportunities. I have a willingness to learn, work hard, and step outside of my comfort zone. I am a team player who wants to help contribute to the overall performance of whatever company I am working for. Whether that be from a follower-type of position or, if the company deems me worthy, from a leadership-type of position.
