I managed the local help desk for the Illinois Board of Education, by supporting an in house online software solution called The Student Information System(SIS) and client/user computer issues. The users that I supported belonged to different businesses, causing them to use vastly different software packages, ranging from Windows 2000, Mac OS X and rarely Linux. SIS is used to enroll and track 2.2 million students ever year.

I performed 24/7 in house hardware and software repair for mission critical servers, switches, routers, printers, PCs and Banking equipment. Customers included retail companies including Wal-mart, Lowes, Home Depot and Dollar tree, as well as banks included Bank of America, US bank, Regions and local banking locations. I was contracted to create Visio Diagrams of the entire corporate network which included the corporate headquarters and 170 remote offices. The Diagram detailed IP address for ever network device, router, and server. As well as usernames and passwords to help ease the burden for remote administers. While performing the data collection for the diagram I also conducting router Firmware updates.
