Operating multi million pound business in the south west

Operated own pub estate and offered various management services for companies and sole traders. Also ran a very successful 'Lease for Sale' agency. Business sold on and integrated into a larger company.

Operated and negotiated contracts for the National Health Service distributing all their medical equipment to hospitals, surgeries and homes for the whole of Scotland and Wales and a high percentage of England from large distribution centres, call centres, workshops and offices. I was totally responsible for this operation with over 2000 staff and £130m+ profit. A very high profile position that entailed working with senior figures in the NHS and Government.

Responsible for up to 8 area managers, property department and surveyors, credit control, telesales, training & recruitment manager, 2 regional offices and relevant secretaries and support staff. Circa 500 tenanted & leased pubs. Also have had responsibility for approx 100 managed houses. Originally with Greenalls, Nomura, Pubmaster, Punch. Senior manager of the year on six occasions

Circle K was the worlds second largest retail chain with over 12,000 upmarket convenience stores which also housed fast food takeaways, cafe bars & coffee shops. I was responsible for launching the company in the north with a target opening of 100 stores within 5 years. Won the International Best New Franchisee award.
