Mr. Greer has been in private practice since 1988, after graduating with honors from California Western School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Adelphia Law Journal. He has a very diverse background. Early in his career he represented swindled investors in class action litigation against the likes of Charles Keating, Jr., Ivan Boesky and Michael Milken. Over the years he has taken the skills acquired from going up against some of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the county and expanded his litigation practice to include consumer protection, wrongful death, professional liability, healthcare law, employment/labor law, asset protection and complex litigation. Mr. Greer lectures nationally, is well published, is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, and is General Counsel for the CPMA, ABPM and The Wopund Pros. He is also an accomplished trial attorney, with his most noteworthy recent trial victory being the $5.2 million wrongful death judgment against Adam Shacknai for the murder of Rebecca Zahau, a death that the San Diego Sheriff classified as a suicide.
