At Cemrock, a company that has established itself in the top tier of zoological and aquarium habitat fabrication, I was hired to find new avenues for business. Business to business relationship building, marketing, communication with designers, and understanding Cemrock's product are key in this position. I introduced a new, multifaceted product for Cemrock that is capable of being sold around the country with a significant profit margin. With my literary background, I became the lead on any type of copywriting with which the company was involved. Writing grant essays, coining taglines for advertisements and other forms of media, and rewriting all the language for the corporate website. I represented the company at the National Recreation and Parks Conference in Charlotte in 2014.

While at Zimmerman and Associates (Zimmerman Public Affairs) I worked under owners, Peter and Carol Zimmerman. Primarily, I managed some 30 employees in a market research call-center setting. I was trained in an esoteric computer programming language called "Wincati" to design computer-assisted surveys for telephone interviewers. I was in charge of quality control for the phone interviewers and also the hiring and firing of said employees. I managed each job to completion in a timely fashion. Our clientele consisted of local politicians (State Senator Olivia Cajero Bedford, Arizona State Representatives Raul Grijalva and Ron Barber, and U.S. congressional candidate, Jonathon Paton) small to large local businesses (Walmart, Sun Tran, Rosemont Copper Project, BevMo), and local interest projects. I also helped assist in the facilitation of local petitions, recruitment for focus group studies, and represented the Rosemont Copper Mine at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show at the Tucson Convention Center. This position was very fluid and entailed no shortage of special and impromptu projects including but not limited to canvassing and other forms of marketing in which we would hire large amounts of temporary employees whom I and other coworkers would manage.
