• Maintain 23 Windows 2003, 2008, and 2012 file servers. • Migrated physical servers to VMware.• Assisted in adding 20TB drive space and migrating those five servers to an EMC mass storage unit, then to a VNX5300 mass storage unit.• Responsible for daily backups on all file servers.• Responsible for restoring files from backups as needed.• Maintained and administered four application servers. Administration consisted of creating and deleting users, changing rights within the application, and updating workstation clients. • Maintained and monitored the Aruba wireless network for the base. • Responsible for ensuring all network servers were functioning and online at all times. • Replaced backup tapes daily, and prepared them for offsite storage weekly.• Placed request weekly for outdated offsite tapes to be returned to Sourcecorp. • Insured FTP file server is available for uploading and downloading files. Troubleshooted issues as necessary.• Repaired and created workstations as need.• Added new printers to the print server and setup in various departments. • Monitored security cameras and ensured they were functioning correctly.• Created user security badges for new employees, or employees that needed additional access.• Programmed and maintained 5 IBMXL high speed optical scanners, and various other individual desktop scanners.• Installed software on workstations as instructed by corporate.• Tested and maintained facility diesel emergency power generator monthly.• Monitored scan queues to ensure completion. • Transferred scanned files to external hard drives as needed for transport to customer.

IS/Facilities ManagementBegan as a Zone Coordinator which was responsible for soliciting loads and dispatching drivers in the Western half of the United States. During time as Zone Coordinator received Carrier of the Year award in 1988 from Owens Corning. Due to changes in Operations, was moved to Fleet Manager which managed 40-50 drivers within the United States. Was responsible for obtaining loads and making sure they were profitable as owner/operators. In 1993 was promoted to Operations Special Projects Coordinator. I was responsible for implementing an optimizer into our current dispatch system. Worked closely with Operations and Information Systems corporate wide to get the interface programmed and implemented.In 1994 was promoted to Technical Services Supervisor. Was responsible for all the local area networks and facilities; During that time completely rewired the building from thin net cable to Cat 5. Converted the Lancaster facility from DOS to a Windows Operating System.In 1996 was promoted to Support Systems Manager. Managed 4-5 personnel and had budgetary responsibilities of approximately $100,000 to maintain the local area network, facilities and telephone systems. Coordinated with home office on implementing new network system and software and a new Shoretel telephone system and Wi-Fi connection for drivers. Also responsible for construction of the Pro Stop Truck Service Center and several parking lots at the Lancaster and Houston facility. Implemented closed circuit camera monitoring system for security purposes and also proximity card door access system at the Lancaster facility. Was also responsible for the creation of all crystal reports used by the corporation.
