South Island Marketing Manager.In this role I was in charge of the sale of all livestock for the South Island, dealing with Meat company executives.The role grew from a Southland base to the South Island Marketing manager, looking after the sale of livestock from all South Island farms.Along with this role, I purchased 20,000 hinds to fill a deer development within the company , followed by 10,000 dairy cows to fill the dairy expansion on the West Coast properties.Within my scope, I was in charge of a local trade arm in Christchurch, supply beef direct from the farms to the supermarkets.A pasture to plate mentality was introduced which saw the production lift in all areas.
