Responsible for developing point of sale software for the Advanced Store software package. Worked on projects for several tier 1 retail stores, including:Kohl's – Added/enhanced several pieces of functionality including multiple receipted returns, item entry, associate sign on, PCI integration, email capture, XML messaging, jewelry re-size, gift card issuance, supervisor override, associate screen saver and customer display integration. Interacted directly with the customer during all phases of application development, including on site visits. Helped train new employees. Design documentation using UML.Express – Added/enhanced functionality for new POS which included instant credit, tendering, item entry, reversals, post and mid void transactions, gift card balance inquiry/tendering, store charge balance inquiry/tendering, gift/merchandise card redemption, AJB Tender Messaging.DSW – Added Enterprise EJ viewer ability to use new Encryption library.PetSmart – Added BOGO functionality to server side software. Enhanced the server PLU viewing utility to also allow view of BOGO promotions on the PLU.Limited – Wrote a data collect manipulator application using C# to enable Limited to fix data collect errors.
