    I put together the weather forecast for KLEW TV for the 5, 6 and 11pm newscasts. I cover the regions of Eastern Washington, North Central and Northern Idaho, and Northeast Oregon. I started in radio broadcasting in 1982 and left full time radio broadcasting in 1993. I was blessed to have won a few awards in the field including "Best Radio Personality" from the Lewiston Tribune in 1992 and 1993 with my morning show and an Idaho State Broadcasting Association award for creativity for the best radio commercial using television in 1992. I joined KLEW TV in 1997 as a fill-in weathercaster. I then signed a 2 year contract for full time in 2012. From 1997 to 2012, there were times I filled in for a year or two until they found someone permanent. I was the Pres/CEO of the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce from 2004 until 2010 and weathercasting at KLEW was a great hobby. I decided to get serious with the profession and in 2012 I won the Idaho State Broadcasting Award for Best Weather Presentation, a first for KLEW TV. It was an absolute honor!

The bottom line in a nutshell: I sold, created, wrote, produced and sometimes voiced the ad campaign for my clients. I left in 2004 to manage the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce.
