When requested, I provide subject matter expertise in support for safety mishap investigations with LM flight safety and human performance training for LM test pilots. I also lead the multimodal human performance assessment and pilot augmentation initiatives within LM Aero and with collaborative partners. As the Human Performance Engineering Lab lead, I manage a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate research, integrate cutting-edge technologies, and develop operational / tactical applications of human performance measures and human-machine interface concepts for current 5th Gen and Next Generation cockpits. I am responsible for the integration of neurophysiological human performance sensing technologies in flight simulators for operational and training applications, as well as for cockpit design concept verification and validation.
