Job entails:- Creation and re-structuring the organigram – setting heads / managers / supervisors- Construction of job titles / job descriptions / contracts - Managing the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, preparation of payroll, company benefits and absences- Review employment and working conditions, ensuring legal compliance- Formation of employee appraisals, salary scales, rewarding techniques, compensations and benefits- Acting as a contact person for any external authorities’ offices- Working closely with employees to improve work relationships, increase morale, productivity and retention- Setting of goals / targets and KPI's - Developing performance management systems and processes - Budgeting of staff and recruiting – creating and publishing of adverts / interviews / selection process / induction and effective onboarding / familiarisation and terminations- Developing and implementation of HR initiatives and systems- Evolving Training and development programs – analysing staff knowledge gaps and enhancing- Developing and promoting HR policies and procedures including company staff handbook- Providing coaching / mentoring / support to staff whilst guidance to professional help- Taking the necessary disciplinary and grievance action - Ensuring excellent customer service back to the business, ideally through first time resolution- Implementing improvements to drive efficiency and empowering the team to do the same- Implementation of health and safety policies / procedures - Organisation of monthly events including team building activities - Identification, development, implementation of employee well-being initiatives- Maintenance and overseeing the payroll process - Developing a good understanding of the HR-related GDPR requirements - Keeping abreast with relevant changes in standards, best practices and applicable regulations

My role includes the recruitment, administration, operational oversight, full training coordination and delivery, supporting, coaching and mentoring a total of 30 Supplier Relations Account Officers and 2 Team Leaders.The objectives are the development of these staff members’ output and the creation of learning outcomes when delivering training. This includes phased targets which each member is to reach, whilst constantly monitoring the achievement within the set time-frames. Also the role entails long-term organizational planning and strategy whilst driving initiatives in the management team to contribute to operational excellence. Developing and managing annual budgets, procedures whilst developing systematic mechanisms and road-maps. My role as an Operations Manager includes:- Recruitment of the team- Planning and the organization of the departmental operations and procedures, scheduling tasks and assigning employees- Organizing, scheduling, delivering and evaluating training- Allocating resources according to priorities- Coaching, mentoring, appraising (rewarding) and discipline of employees- Reviewing leave plans and authorizing (or declining) scheduled leave based on departmental exigencies- Provide direction by leading and coaching, to ensure that the company goals are accomplishedAlso my responsibilities include the monitoring of information by:- Monitoring performance reports and communicating performance outcomes to the relevant departmental employees- Ensuring that communications are carried out in a timely and effective manner- Following on work results upon completion of the work plans- Making sure that all deadlines and targets are adhered to- Reviewing instances in which performance results are not being achieved, and review possible short-comings from the knowledge base
