I have an imaginative approach to my work, yet maintain rigorous standards. I have extensive experience of collections within a museum or art gallery environment. I mainly specialise in packing, ceramics, sculpture and picture hanging. My exceptional interpersonal skills have enabled me to build effective working relationships with colleagues across the Academy, including our other art handlers, curators, registrars, as well as freelance/contract art technicians. Lastly, and most importantly i have been able to demonstrate a genuine passion and knowledge of the visual arts and a huge understanding and knowledge of the Royal Academy of Arts.As well as working with the RA’s permanent collection which comprises around 1000 sculptures (including large and fragile plaster casts), 1000 paintings, 25,000 works on paper and 20,000 photographs dating from the 18th century to the present day, i worked closely with artists on all the shows.
