(completing all entities to a single ERP within 12 months).

Managing the global active ingredient planning and logistics team of 6 direct reports (China, India, France, USA), and orchestrating the S&OP processes at country, regional, and global levels with +100 Indirect reports globally in Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Logistics functions.• Implemented S&OP maturity assessments to drive continuous improvement in all elements of the process. Developed and implemented forecast accuracy metrics, reporting, and user-training packages which drove forecasting error reductions of between 10-70%. • Created a supply chain functional competency assessment toolkit, in Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning, Customer Services, Warehousing and Logistics functions - which supported the generation of development plans for all personnel within the function – assisting succession planning, building higher employee engagement, improving on-the-job performance, and increasing retention levels of key personnel. The toolkit was also used to support recruitment activities by enhancing the quality of role definitions and search criteria. • Managed all global freight benchmarking and tendering, and provided support to all regional 3PL, freight forwarder, and warehousing tenders. Directed network optimisation studies at all geographical levels, leading to between 2 – 8% cost improvements, and order lead-time reductions to secure higher degrees of customer satisfaction.• Developed a global risk mitigation strategy to support multiple sourcing, and a global network mapping to aid business continuity planning. The identification and addition of geographically diverse strategic and tactical suppliers improved availability of key materials by over 30%.

Field Based

Accountable for all Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Customer Services functions within the Liquids division (Fresh & Flavoured milk, Cream, Juices, Powdered) and reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Director. • Instigated a new S&OP process from scratch and developed the progression of the same into an ERP planning technology platform, allowing better “best use of milk” assessments, improved service capability, and improved financial forecasting accuracy• Led the hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly capacity planning of 6 dairies (2 direct reports, +25 indirect reports) and the national Customer Service order-to-cash and in-store merchandising support operations (10 direct reports) – which serviced Grocery Retail store level distribution (+1,800 outlets/day) at over 99.5% OTIF fulfilment, and the “Milk & More” doorstep delivery network (+1.5 million deliveries/week), and other BMB consortia, at over 95% OTIF service.• Developed a full BCP and pandemic plan response for the entire division, ensuring clear contingency planning was available in times of reduced capacity. (whether raw material, labour, fuel, or accidental impacts etc.).

Reporting to the UK & Ireland General Manager, fully accountable for all elements of supply chain management including Customer Services, Logistics, Demand Planning, External Manufacturing, and Supply Planning functions - with 14 direct reports.• Introduced S&OP into RB's UK business and developed the use of a dedicated planning solution to support it. Included within this was the development of causal factor forecasting to improve accuracy of retail sales forecasting. These resulted in improvements in forecast accuracy to as low as 8-16% error on promotional activity.• Development of CPFR program for major retailers, and disaster recovery planning projects to support in critical periods, improving availability on-shelf in all affected accounts.• 3rd party logistics contract responsibility, including a major warehouse relocation project, and all international freight tendering project support. • Logistics cost-to-serve analysis of the customer base, with continual improvement projects to substantially reduce complexity and cost.

Joined having been accepted for the Bass Business Development Scheme (graduate program) and placed within Britvic Soft Drink's Operations function.Completed many roles within Supply Chain including Demand Forecasting, Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Distribution management functions. Moved into Customer Marketing, and then implemented a major sales & marketing organisational redesign project, before moving into the New Product Development and Innovation team.
