Provide direct therapy services to families with birth to 3 year old children as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Home health based service delivery, I coordinate my own schedule with those of the families I work with in order to make in-home visits in the northern Austin area. Additional responsibilities as the licensed therapist on an evaluation team, completing evaluations using clinical observation, parent interview, and evaluations tools (BDI-2 and HELP) in order to develop Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to direct treatment services.

Collaborate with Program Manager and Senior Director of Children and Family Services with EIS Team Lead to support ECI program of 50+ individual team members serving approximately 500 children in Austin area, identifying and implementing program goals and strategies for both short and long term purposes. Direct supervision to 15+ therapists (OT, PT, SLP), as well as support to broader team for day to day operations. Specialty in training and supporting team through technology transitions, providing tutorial documentation and training videos as well as ongoing individual training to implement new digital documentation and organizational systems.

Performed various roles as needed within this small, specialized furniture company and sawmill. Completed cabinetry tasks for in-house storage purposes, operated various woodworking machinery, contributed to milling and wood prep for air drying and kiln drying, and assisted customers in selecting and calculating products by the board foot. Operated equipment including but not limited to planer, table saw, joiner, straight-line saw, chop saw, sanders, and 6 ton forklift.

As a pediatric home health Occupational Therapist, I worked closely with families and the KidsCare Therapy management team to evaluate and treatment children with a variety of diagnostic backgrounds. Time management, communication, and scheduling skills factored highly into my role as a therapist within this treatment setting.

I worked with students in an urban school setting, providing individual learning assistance as well as small group workshops. Served as an entry-level Orton-Gillingham tutor (specialized dyslexia tutoring) to meet individualized learning goals.

I was a full-time volunteer for City Year, a non-profit that is part of Americorps. My day to day work was within a team of 5, preparing and running a tri-monthly community service program for Middle School students.

Provided one-on-one role modeling and social therapy with mid to high functioning youth on the Autism Spectrum.
