Provide a single point of contact for employees and contracted vendors to ensure that rigging, construction and development projects are integrated and performed in a timely manner to achieve successful completion. Have overall responsibility to manage, plan, coordinate and integrate activities across multiple functional lines for completing all projects on schedule, within budget and in accordance with technical requirements and governing regulations. Supervise the skilled craft work performed by various trade personnel. Includes work requirement analysis, job layout, equipment selection, material orders and labor hour estimates. Provide project management and construction management to trade personnel performing work on rigging and construction projects. Track time and materials to ensure projects are accomplished within funding constraints and allowable performance periods. Initiate requests for adjustments, time extensions and scope changes when required. Maintains complete project documentation records on all projects and provides status briefing to Associate Director of Site Services when requested. Work with other units in managing projects to minimize disruption to buildings and systems, utilities and other operational elements. Schedule and coordinate shutdowns as needed for the project. Maintains records for budget, employee attendance, performance and rigging inventory inspections. Meet with engineers, architects, scientists and administrators to coordinate and ensure the work is done correctly and to all applicable codes.
