I began My Law enforcement career in 1983 working for a LAPD Sergeant who owned a Security Company in Southern California. With his mentoring and guidance, I became a Reserve Deputy and Police officer until attending the full time LASO Academy in 1988. During this time I also worked as a Public Safety Officer for the University of California Police in Irvine and Orange, CA.After LACO, I spent a couple of years at Long Beach and lateraled to the CSU Police System in 2003 working in Los Angeles and Pomona where I retired from the CSU system in 2017. After retiring, I moved to Arizona, I continued in Law Enforcement a Sheriff Posse member which is similar to a reserve position. Some accomplishments include, Lifesaving/Medal of Valor Award, DUI Award, Implementation of policies and procedures that I authored or amended, a large number of arrest and case closures by myself or with my partner in Investigations, and assisting other agencies with Investigations, warrants, task force units and multi-agency assignments.My goal is to become a Background Investigator for a company or government entity utilizing my experience, knowledge and training that I obtained as a veteran Police Officer/ Deputy and Detective.
