I believe in being the kind of person who wants to make a difference in everything I do. It is important for me to work in a profession that allows me to be helpful to other people.I am easy going and friendly when providing customer assistance. I consider myself an educator, and I go out of my way to explain in detail different things about a variety of topics. Reputation means everything to me. I always keep my word and all of my clients can count on me to follow though when I handle their accounts. I have been fortunate to be able to combine a variety of skills in my profession including technical scientific information, visually artistic design ability, business acumen and salesmanship, some basic computer skills, and a whole lot of physical labor. I have a proven track record of increasing sales at every organization I have worked for and have left many nurseries more organized and aesthetically pleasing to look at then when I arrived. I consider myself a life long environmentalist and non-violent political activist since my days as a student at U.C. Santa Cruz. Some of my major influences and inspiration comes from the writings of Rachel Carson, Aldo Leopold, Barry Commoner, Wendell Berry, Duane Elgin, Fritjof Capra, Loren Eiseley, John Muir, Les Brown, Wes Jackson, E.F. Schmacher, Mohatmas Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr.
