After obtaining my associate's degree in criminal justice, I started off my professional career in law enforcement. I spent ten years working in several areas of law enforcement. I progressed from a new recruit to a major case/homicide detective for the agency I worked for. Upon leaving the law enforcement field, I was very lucky to have had the opportunity to become involved in the Right of Way industry. The first project I was assigned to was in Des Moines, IA working on the Dakota Access Pipeline project. I was able to obtain a wealth of experience from the project, as I started during survey permitting phase and progressed through the end of construction/restoration. Following my introduction to the industry I've been fortunate enough to diversify my experience in the industry and have gained experience working on electrical transmission, wind farm projects. I have enjoyed my time working in this industry and look forward to many more years of doing my part to help develop American infrastructure.
