Heico Construction Group has oversight over a myriad of companies across the United States. My current responsibilities include the Gulf Region States, primarily concrete form-work for high-rise buildings and electrical oversight in Texas.

Oversee constructing a new corporate headquarters for Phillips 66 in the west Houston area. The project encompassed 1.2 million square feet of class A building towers. Inclusive of 1 million square feet parking garage, cafeteria, fitness center, soccer field that sets on top of the parking garage and mega indoor podium/conference center. Collaborate with Project Team and Construction Manager on establishing a strong safe and environmentally compliant culture at the project work site based on a philosophy of “zero safety incidents” and minimum impact to the environment.

Oversee all daily safety operations by interfacing with clients, management, and field personnel. Pre-qualify all Subcontractors, lead pre-con construction meetings, and conduct Hazard ID meetings prior to mobilization. Implement safety behavior program for site. Coordinate site permits and facilitate safety meetings and training with field personnel. Conduct incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions. Perform scheduled job site inspections, risk assessment, and monitor Near Miss logs. Closely monitor corrective action measures to ensure ongoing compliance. Prepare and present monthly reports to clients and senior management. Maintain and track project metrics.

Built & implemented safety program for Houston construction, electrical, and HVAC Services. Manage field and service personnel on a daily basis to maintain project safety enhancement processes. Coordinated safety meetings and training with field personnel. Conducted incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions. Performed scheduled job-site inspections and closely monitored corrective action measures for ongoing compliance. Performed risk assessment and hazard abatement in the field.
