Our workgroup decides which conditions to measure, the definition of success for each condition and also the cost of care nationally. The workgroup has developed national dashboards and regularly updates senior leaders from the government and the hospitals on the performance of the healthcare teams in order to drive change and improve the value of care delivered to patients. It facilitates best practice sharing among the different health care providers in Singapore and is working towards a common cost reporting systems among the different hospitals in Singapore.

I was one of the first 2 Singaporeans to be conferred Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the RANZCR. Since then I have been a specialist at the Department of Radiation Oncology, NUH. I had the privileged running numerous clinical and research programs and of holding numerous leadership positions in the department since early in my career such as Program Directorand have been recognized for this by numerous fast track promotions resulting in my being one of the youngest doctors to be promoted to the rank of Senior Consultant in NUH. My sub specialty interest are in Genitourinary cancer, in particular prostate cancer as well as cancers of the central nervous system. In 2009 I pioneered the use of CT guided high dose rate prostate brachytherapy in South East Asia and since then NUH has been one of the leading centers of excellence for this treatment in South East Asia with numerous publications and doctors seeking training with us. Aside from clinical, adminstrative and education work, I have also a interest in research being awarded numerous research grants including 2 National Medical Research Grants as Principle Investigator and 1 as Co-Investigator, amounting to nearly 2 million dollars in grant funding. My research work has been cited hundreds of times and I have been invited to speak at numerous overseas meetings

I presently lead the Value Driver Care Program for the National University Health System Cluster, which covers National University Hospital, Ng Teng Fong Hospital, Jurong Community Hospital and the National University Polyclinics.
