As a Veteran, I understand making that transition can be difficult. As part of this group, I provide training and assist transitioning military personnel on their journey to find civilian jobs. Spearheaded/coordinated water sampling and budgeting activities for AFB Drinking Water Program. Performs air sampling, ventilation, and noise evaluations/surveys to protect workers for m environmental health risks. • Conducts industrial hygiene special surveillance for 300 shops to comply with the Occupational, Safety and Health Administration Standards. Tracks assignment completions and updates Bioenvironmental Engineering information management systems. Conducts comprehensive industrial hygiene evaluations to assess and identify, chemical, physical, biological, and radiological occupational health risks and hazards.• Utilized interpersonal skills to build professional relationships between key leaders and staff in the organization and across multi-agency and multi-disciplinary fields; trusted point of contact and subject matter expert for incoming and outgoing requests for information, showing immense understanding of the context for tasks and assignments, and facilitating the flow of administrative work.• Surveyed high-risk to low-risk industrial work centers, collected information from employees and workplace data to conduct analysis and determined personal protective equipment, administrative, and engineering requirements based on the nature and condition of the work environment. • Collected, researched, and responded to health concerns/inquiries, met short suspense timelines to protect workers from physical, chemical, biological, and radiological, hazards. Provided qualitative and quantitative assessments, compiled information/interpreted results, and briefed complex information to leadership/management.

Recommended administrative controls, and personal protective gear to 2k plus personnel for controlling health hazards. Coordinates with a certified environmental laboratory on $15K drinking water analysis contract. Ensures 850K gallons of drinking water per year is deemed safe for consumption for a community of 8,000. Member of the base emergency response team for hazardous material incidents, advising senior leadership and Fire Chief on chemical or biological hazards and control measures.
