CurrentAn experienced and knowledgeable PGA professional with over 40 years experience much of which spent at one of the worlds top private golf clubs.My extensive experience encompasses all elements of the golf club professional mix, including teaching,retailing, merchandising,customer insight, brand management,event management, marketing communications,design management and staff development and training.During my time at Sunningdale Golf Club I was integral in the planning, operation and execution of over 30 major professional tournaments including the European Open and British Seniors Open.One of my key passions is the training and development of young assistant professionals and I am very proud of the onward success enjoyed by many of my trainees who have gone on to senior jobs in major clubs around the world including - Queenwood, Sandy Lane Barbados and Mount Juliet.My skills within golf retail to identify and help develop new brands is well known - for example I was one of the UK's first stockist of Callaway Golf equipment. Within the golf apparel range I was one of the UK's first and most successful retailer of J Lindenberg clothing and also Kjus rainwear.
