Currentin the Puma Aircraft Servicing Flight at RAF Benson. Responsible for overseeing the repair of airframe primary and secondary structures.Assessing mechanical damage and corrosion for repair or replacement. Supervising and organising manpower and resources.Managing and looking after the welfare of fifteen tradesmen within my area of responsibility.Key AchievementTaking over the responsibility and reorganisation of structures bay and its personnel, and turning it into a well organised and effective asset for the Puma servicing flight.Being selected to carry out the refurbishment of the Gate Guardian Spitfire Replica Aircraft, using my previous knowledge and experience. 2003 - 2010 Member of the RAF' Aircraft Crash Recovery Team; Responsible for the supervision and recovery of aircraft wreckage and components (post crash incident). In a variety of locations worldwide.Supervise as part of a team, road, sea, and air transportation of aircraft and or components to tight time constraints.Organising and obtaining the correct equipment for tasks and deploying at short notice.Liaising with outside agencies, the police and other civil emergency services.Key AchievementsGaining several laudatory letters praising the work that had been carried out for different customers and agencies. Being selected for promotion twice during this period in my career.
