Director Of TrainingUs Army Quartermaster School Dec 2013 - PresentFort Lee, VaServes as the chief technical advisor to the Quartermaster School (QMS) Command Group and directorates/departments on all matters pertaining to the development of Soldier training initiatives. Manages the training activities and supports training department oversight for the Assistant Commandant. Manages and integrates highly complex and technical training modernization and digital training technology to modernize the Army training environment. Provides training guidance to organizations involved in developing and maintaining approximately 89 Programs of Instruction (POI). Directs program requirements in short and long-range planning for the implementation of training and support functions within the School by analyzing QMS training responsibilities and objectives for the purpose of establishing, managing, and maintaining effective plans for execution of resident and mobile training team instructors. Supports CASCOM/SCOE and TRADOC reference to the scheduling, allocation and adjustment of training loads identified on the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) as programmed by the Structure Manning Decision Review (SMDR) and adjusted by the Training Requirements Arbitration Panel (TRAP). Participates in the development of the Structure Management Decision Review (SMDR) input to ensure programs are congruent with the milestones of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES). Develops policies for implementation, and sustainment of lifelong learning concepts and strategies. Manages the activities of the Strategic Management System (SMS), TRADOC Status Report (TSR), Activity Based Costing (ABC), Defense Travel System (DTS), Institutional Training Resource Model (ITRM), and reviews all QM POIs for adequacy and proper identification of equipment and other resources, to include mode of instruction, necessary for successful execution of the training mission. Supervises a staff of approximately 20 individuals.
