Serves as the chief technical advisor to the Quartermaster School (QMS) Command Group and directorates/departments on all matters pertaining to the development of Soldier training initiatives. Manages the training activities and supports training department oversight for the Assistant Commandant. Manages and integrates highly complex and technical training modernization and digital training technology to modernize the Army training environment. Provides training guidance to organizations involved in developing and maintaining approximately 89 Programs of Instruction (POI). Directs program requirements in short and long-range planning for the implementation of training and support functions within the School by analyzing QMS training responsibilities and objectives for the purpose of establishing, managing, and maintaining effective plans for execution of resident and mobile training team instructors. Supports CASCOM/SCOE and TRADOC reference to the scheduling, allocation and adjustment of training loads identified on the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) as programmed by the Structure Manning Decision Review (SMDR) and adjusted by the Training Requirements Arbitration Panel (TRAP). Participates in the development of the Structure Management Decision Review (SMDR) input to ensure programs are congruent with the milestones of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES). Develops policies for implementation, and sustainment of lifelong learning concepts and strategies. Manages the activities of the Strategic Management System (SMS), TRADOC Status Report (TSR), Activity Based Costing (ABC), Defense Travel System (DTS), Institutional Training Resource Model (ITRM), and reviews all QM POIs for adequacy and proper identification of equipment and other resources, to include mode of instruction, necessary for successful execution of the training mission. Supervises a staff of approximately 20 individuals.

Supervisory Logistics Training Specialist with full responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising all activities involved in the overall logistics training department program requirements, plans and services. Perform long-range work planning, establishment of annual work programs, and review and evaluation of all training development and evaluations. Establishes policy, defines procedures, and makes recommendations to ensure training support is effective and efficient. Acts as The Quartermaster School proponent for all manual and automated supply training. Serve as the principal advisor to the commander/group on all matters affecting supply/logistics training, emerging systems, and operating procedures. Identifies career field training criteria and translates requirements into program strategies for resident and mobile training team training. Determine training criteria by reviewing and analyzing equipment training plans, field critiques of current course training, and other applicable information. Defines and delegates authority to subordinate supervisors. Establishes supervisory positions, sets performance standards, completes and reviews performance appraisals developed by subordinate supervisors. Establishes priorities, plans, and assigns work to accomplish the mission. Develops training plans and schedules for employees to ensure training programs are completed. Reviews and approves personnel actions initiated by subordinate supervisors.

Plans, coordinates, schedules and conducts the Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) Integrated Warrior Sustainment FTX. Assigns projects to maximize FTX effectiveness. Conducts significant reviews and analyses of current operational procedures and issues lessons learned reports. Develops time and resource requirements for projects. Manages schedules and expenditures to ensure proper and timely execution of projects. Provides recommendations and advice to improve training methodologies. Coordinates with Brigade, Installation and other SCoE staff elements to discuss training exercise and obtain necessary ranges and resources.

Responsible for planning coordinating and synchronizing events/activities associated with the congressional mandated BRAC at Fort Lee for the United States Army Quartermaster Center and School that includes the development of strategies, performance plans and data analysis to identify resource requirements that influence decisions. Provided planning, coordination and operational support to the Commanding General (CG) on the execution of the Quartermaster School mission, his charter as the Quartermaster Corps Regimental Commander and the Deputy Senior mission commander for the installation. Reviewed products to ensure that they are professionally prepared with accurate data before presentation to internal and external audiences.

Commanded the most diverse battalion in the brigade with an average aggregate daily strength of over 1500 Soldiers. Provided training, discipline, professional development and quality of life for over 8000 Soldiers annually. Served as TF Commander responsible for planning, coordinating and executing a scenario-driven bi-monthly field training exercises reinforcing Warrior Task and Battle Drills for 400-500 Soldiers. Recognized by the Brigade Commander for implementing the best Soldier programs in the Brigade; programs included dining-in, spiritual fitness programs, sports competition and Warrior Task and Battle Drill Competition.

Executive Officer/Chief of Staff for the 23d QM Bde with an annual throughput of over 16,000 soldiers and an average daily strength of over 3,500 soldiers and marines. Served as the Commander s principal assistant for directing, coordinating, supervising, and training the staff. Freed up the commander from routine details and passed pertinent data, information, and insight from the staff to the commander and from the commander to the staff. Supervised and directed the activities of the Brigade primary staff and special staff to assist the Commander in planning and synchronization of current and future operations. Managed personnel, security and operations, logistics functions, and resources for the Brigade. Employed innovative approaches to build consensus to accomplish the most complex and difficult tasks. Managed the commander s critical information requirements (CCIR) and enforced the staff planning time line.

Primary staff officer to the Commanding General (CG) for training and operations for over 24,000 students annually. Managed the completion of all training support missions and program implementation. Prepared command training guidance to communicate the CG s training focus consistent with TRADOC and CASCOM training priorities. Planned activities of Quartermaster Regimental Week, the premier annual event that involved briefings, formal evening events, Regimental dedication ceremonies. Served as the focal point for all internal and external taskings for the QM school. Published operations orders for command sponsored events. Planned and coordinated the successful execution of the TRADOC IET assessment visit that resulted in additional funding being programmed for the Quartermaster Center and School.

Operations Officer for a Brigade with an annual throughput of 24,000 Soldiers and Marines. Responsible for planning and coordinating all training for the Brigade. Coordinated for resources required to effectively implement training. Provided oversight of the Logistics Warrior Multi-Echelon Field Training Exercise for 400-600 Initial Military Training Soldiers on a weekly basis. Developed the first brigade long range synchronized training calendar. The driving force behind the most successful Quartermaster Center and School EXODUS Operation for AIT Soldiers, moving over 2000 AIT Soldiers safely in less than 12 hours with multiple modes of transportation.

Executive Officer/Chief of staff of a battalion with an average daily strength of 1300 Soldiers. Responsible for all battalion level staff actions. Monitored physical fitness, Soldierization, professional development, supply, administrative, safety and other programs that impact Soldier readiness and quality of life. Assist the commander in planning, coordinating and executing of the Logistic Warrior multi-echelon Field Training Exercise. Responsible for management of the battalion annual operations budget. Developed systems and implemented processes that totally transformed the effectiveness and efficiency of the battalion day to day operations. Refocused Officer Professional Development program and initiated new training techniques that included automation upgrades for the Logistic Warrior field training exercise. Deployed as TF Commander on multiple Log Warrior FTX rotations
