Responsible of Finance, Billing & Fees, Income & Payments, Revenue Assurance and Decision Support, HR and IT functions within STM Malta Pension Services Ltd

Reporting directly to the CEO on the business as a Going concern, ensuring compliance to all regulatory reporting obligations, overseeing all financial transactions and managing the Finance Department of STM Malta Pension Services Ltd.

Holds shares in KP Holdings Ltd and Castelletti Ltd, whose main Objects of Trade are the management of Palazzo Castelletti as a catering venture and multi-purpose venue. After setting this up, Palazzo Castelletti now has its own management team and a full time General Manager who take care of all the day to day operations. My role as a director of the company is to sit on the board of directors (3 in total) which is convened once a month and advise strategic direction accordingly.

Managing all operations within the Finance department of Miller Group including Credit Control, Treasury, Procurement and Supplier Services, Revenue Control, Accounting and Decision Support teams.

Responsible of the Commercial Department, Fundraising Department and Facilities department of Inspire Foundation for Inclusion. Commercial entities included the Fitness Centre complete with Gym, Indoor Swimming pool and Sauna, 8 Charity Shops in Malta and Gozo, as well as all commercial lease operations including Cafeterias, Lido and Adventure Park (at Razzett tal-Hbiberija).

Managing Corporate, SME and Single line business customers connected to a Vodafone network. Responsible for overseeing the acquisition and retention teams with the Enterprise business unit and providing tailor-made solutions for business customers ranging from mobile to fixed telephone and bandwidth.

Responsible of drawing up quarterly budgets on a rolling basis; reviewing business cases and financial feasibility studies; cost control by cost centre for all departments; cascading of goals from CEO level down to departmental level; monthly financial performance review against budgets; regularly reviewing revenue and cost KPIs for performance monitoring purposes; drawing up KPI dashboard for usability by non-accountants; implementation of Business Intelligence reports.

Monitoring of EU funded programmes to ensure 100% take up of EU funds by Government within the specified allowable time-frames. Guidance and consultancy to organisations public and private to best utilise EU funds as per agreed to commitments and business plans.

Regular audit reviews of companies with portfolio. Companies ranging from small SMEs to larger corporate companies. Typical audit included risk assessments, materiality assessments, stress tests, screening and sampling. Preparation of audit worksheets up to auditor's opinion on financial reports.
