About Keith Pullen
Keith specialises in research and development of low carbon technologies for transport and ground power. Excited to be a founder Director of Levistor, commercialising the flywheel technology he initially developed at City University of London also supported by several funding agencies and companies including Nissan, Dynamic Boosting Systems, Tata Steel and Turbo Power Systems. He is an Enterprise Fellow with the Royal Academy of Engineering awarded to support commercialisation of the laminated flywheel technology. He led the City contribution to the £3M EPSRC funded Vehicle Electric System Integration and on many other electromechanical research projects. He has undertaken consultancy work for many OEMs including Mercedes Benz F1 and Red Bull F1 for energy recovery systems. He has authored 35 patents families and has over 140 international publications on small scale energy systems and hybrid propulsion systems. Prior to his Chair at City, he was an academic at Imperial College London until 2007 and prior to that worked for Rolls-Royce and Noble Denton Consultancy Services.
