Covering Cannon County community events, Cannon County government meetings, Cannon County school events including Cannon County High School and Middle Grades sports.In October 2019, I became the only staff writer for the weekly paper.I also manage all content including advertising on the Courier website and handle the Courier's Facebook social media account.I provide the play-by-play voice via Facebook Live of Cannon County High School and Middle Grades audio and video broadcasts as well as host all the interviews aired on Facebook Live.Before being placed on staff, I was a freelance writer for the Courier covering government meetings and sporting events since 2014. I have also done freelance writing for Rutherford Reader, and defunct papers in Murfreesboro and Clarksville. Writing samples available upon request.

Started as afternoon drive on air and sports play by play announcer for high school sports broadcasts. Served many years as news,sports, and music director. Basically handled most anything dealing with the operations of the station itself other than office management duties.Handled all of the news and sports posts on the radio station's website as well as Facebook social media.Also was the morning on-air personality/news director during the station's ownership of WBOZ 104.9FM in 1995 before it was sold in bankruptcy.
